Midway Neurological & Rehabilitation Center - Registered Nurse (RN)$5000 Sign on BonusPRIMARY DUTYThe primary purpose of the RN is to provide direct and individualized nursing care to residents.
The RN will work as part of the nursing team to assess resident needs, plan and modify care and implement interventions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include the following.

Provides direct and individualized nursing care to residentsOrders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess resident's conditionModifies resident treatment plans as indicated by residents' responses and conditionsMonitors all aspects of resident care, including diet and physical activityPrepares residents for, and assist with, examinations and treatmentsAdministers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques and facility policiesMaintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of residentObserves resident, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of resident's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidentsTakes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of residentConsults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate resident care plansMaintains accurate, detailed reports and recordsRecord residents' medical information and vital signsDocuments nursing history and physical assessment for assigned residentsInitiates a resident education plan according to the individualized needs of the resident, as prescribed by physician and/or facility policy including resident and family instructionExplains procedures and treatments to residents to gain cooperation, understanding, and alleviate apprehensionInstructs residents, families and other groups on topics such as health education, disease prevention and health improvement programsResponds to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocolMay be required to be on-call periodically or as specifically needed by facilityUnderstands and reviews the facility's Healthcare Clinical Policies and Procedures and Safety GuidelinesReports any issues or problems that may arise to the Director of Nursing and/or AdministratorComplies with state, federal, and all other applicable health care and safety standardsAssists families and other visitors as neededAttends/completes required in-services and other required meetingsPerforms other duties as directedEDUCATION and EXPERIENCE an equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
Graduate from an accredited nursing program; minimum of 1 year of previous long-term care experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experienceMust be licensed in the state as a Registered Nurse (RN) #123About the Company:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
