We are currently seeking an experienced (1stShift) Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team in Bridgeview, IL.
Job Description:
Inspect & document measurement results for First Piece layout approvals.
Inspects incoming, work-in-process, and finished goods by validating conformance to customer drawing specifications/GDT.
Conducts visual and measurement tests according to company guidelinesOperates Brown & Sharpe CMM (working knowledge of PC-DMIS)Perform inspection gage setup and teardown for production.
Able to lift and move parts up to 30lbsRequirements and
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
At least 1-3 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector or similar role in a metals manufacturing environment.
Must be detailed and multi-task orientedGeometry and computer skillsMust be able to read blueprintsStrong working knowledge of GD&T, and use of various inspection equipmentAbility to work 4 (10hr) days a week Monday - Thursday.
Friday and Saturday OT, as required
